3/15 slow day on the forum...

it really has been slow lately. while still wet, our temps here out west have finally bumped up to something approaching normal for spring.

im dreaming about a new roadie to shred the sunshine.

Was talking to a friend, apparently our local trail crew has suspended fat biking on all the trails until they can get out on snow shoes, and then pull the groomer around them.

Reading the updates from them is apparently hilarious as they are constantly promulgating new regulations, no riding today, riding ok before 8am, no riding snow is too soft, don't ride these trails, but these other ones are ok.

I get that they care about maintaining the trails for everyone, but we're in the second half of the March now, and this may just be the time to go out and enjoy whatever snow is left; rather than trying to get another 4 days out of it in a couple weeks.

It's been unseasonably warm here in western Colorado. The trees are all budding, so if we get a freeze, no fresh fruit...
Next week is my spring break and I'm hoping a new bike and wheelset will arrive to keep me company.
If not, I've got plenty of other bikes to start earning my turns on! Oh yeah and a never ending list of home remodeling chores and '79 ford repairs. You know life.
