Crap.

All week QBP has had 1 180mm Record crankset left in stock. I figured that I'd better pick up another one 'fer my private stash (3-177.5's, 1-180), which with a Phil bb is about as good as it gets atmo.

When I was online checking inventory for our order at 14:00 it was still there, when I put our order in at 15:45 it was G-O-N-E :crap: :crap: :crap:

Called Ochsner, Euro-Asia, Campagnolo USA, and a couple others later this afternoon and no one has any 180's anymore...

What am I to do, I really need at least 2 180's to last for the next decade+...

E-Red,

I've already got three sets of 177.5's sitting in the closet...

Edit: Wheels are turning...what rings does it have, silver or AFT...

I know 39x53, you caught me while I was editing to say Silver ('03 and prior) or the newer AFT rings.

I'd rather have silver atmo...

Will somebody tell me how the small guys supposed to stay in business...

Update: I found a 180 online and with a price-match I paid less for it than I would’ve paid from QBP or Ochsner had it been in stock. Same thing with tires, I regularly find tires online for SIGNIFANTLY below my cost. How am I, as one of the 'little' guys supposed to compete with this madness...

You're not. It's the WalMart-ization of America; bigger/cheaper is better.
