whether in an electric or normal gas engined car, would be great to see VW evolve the design of the Golf to something more streamlined as seen here:

other than the suicide doors, nothing too radical, just way more flowing.

While not horrible, that looks like what might happen if Toyota went to VW for some fresh styling on the larger Prius.

I had my car (a TDI!) in the dealer's shop for a few days, in the meantime driving a loaner Tiguan... cute-UV, top trim level, costs ~30k, gets a whopping 18 mpg in the city. How can they sell any of them?.. A giant Honda Odyssey minivan gets that! The only redeeming features of the Tiguan are spritely handling and a cabin devoid of gimmickry.
