Hey there,

A couple of places have these at good prices (well, comparably haha) and I've generally liked the EC70's and 90's that I've used in the past.

Has anyone tried these? The only real review I can find states that they felt cramped in the drops.

Which I suppose is understandable with their minimal 120 drop. I mostly ride on the hoods anyhow these days.

Thanks!

Drop is 125mm, which is on par +/- a few mm with most other compact bars. From the descriptions it sounds like the shape of the transition it the issue, with the bend having a shorter radius - that is, bending more quickly, so that the drop section ends up being a straighter section. More of the curve right away below the lever, less curve at the end.

I think it would depend where in the drops you like to be. I tend to like the more rearward section of the drops, rather than being tucked right under the hoods. The consequence of a shorter radius bend just under the hoods is there is less vertical space between the bottom of the hoods and the flat of the drop - as they point out.

Oh sorry about that, I'd read elsewhere that it had a 120 drop, but you are absolutely correct, it is 125.

Gotcha, yeah, I generally tuck in close to the hoods, so maybe it would work.

Thank you batman!
