But hey, hats off to Moonlight. In my opinion the best movie of the year! (Besides Arrival of course, but we all know sci fi never has a chance).

Brazil is an awesome movie... remember one I saw in a fantastic cinema festival long time ago about this vikings that went to the future, the funniest thing is that they were all (like 8 of them) carrying the boat in modern roads... where ever they went the boat was with them, cant remember the name :/

I never saw Moon...actually haven't even heard of it. Love the others...but which The Thing are we talking about? Assuming Carpenter's, which was just an AWESOME movie.

Not sure if these count, but I also enjoyed Delicatessen/City of Lost Children. And The Lobster was extremely interesting, though it needed editing.

Some others I love are Gattaca, which i thought was very under appreciated, Forbidden Planet (obvious) and 12 monkeys. I have a thing for Gilliam.
