Needed a crankset and came across this / super record compact with CX 11 rings. Will a 34 (11 spd) off an Athena (alloy, UT) crankset fit with the 46 CX ring?

Yes. I have a cx11 crankset and replaced the 36t with a 34t Athena ring.

Yup..Use the same CR bolts or find steel Athena ones used on Athena carbon crankset..

thanks - in case I like the 46 big ring, anyone with experience using TA or Stronglight rings for campy cranks? Is one preferred over the other?

I have TA 48t on both a PowerTorque Athena crank and an older, square taper Record crank..Work well, last a long time, not BIG BUX.

Both good. I just recently installed a set of stronglight rings on the same crankset you have. bought from the UK for cheap money and am very impressed with the quality of the rings and the shifting is nice and smooth too. also - i think they look good!

looks good - do the campy bolts work or do you have to go aftermarket as well?
