Looking for a beater to attach a burley trailer to and came across this. Seems like a decent bike for the money. Never heard of RX100, a google search equated it to 105.

My best trash day find was a 57cm version of this bike. RX100 is good mid-level stuff

Sounds like a killer deal to me. I have one of the PDG frames in 62, and I'm pretty sure all of the frames were the same, with only the components separating the price points. It's a mildly oversized steel (compared to classic 70's - 80's dimensions); like 1.25" for the downtube instead of 1.125". Lugged frame. Rides really nicely. 59.5 top tube, if I remember correctly, for the 62.
RX-100 was basically the equivalent to 105 at the time, although marked one step down from it. I think the only real difference was in the finish. Ironically, there were a couple of years when RX-100 was polished and the "nicer" 105 was silver-painted.
I'd go for it, if it fits you.
Go for it. I had the exact same bike as a single speed for a couple of years. That Tange stuff is buttery.

The seller has about 20 bikes from various decades for sale. obviously a flipper, i mean purveyor of fine bicycles, so make an offer accordingly

Nice buy. But, personally, a racy geo with 25mm tires wouldn't be my first choice for Burley trailer pulling duty.

Yeah, I wondered about that too.
By the way, if I remember correctly, the tire clearances were a little tighter on the front fork than the rear. But 28's were a little too close to comfort. I'd guess 27's are about the max. At least without replacing the fork.

Anything you can attach the trailer to will work, but something with clearance for bigger rubber and maybe longer chainstays for stability might be a better bet.
It's a personal choice.
I can't tell if this (https://cincinnati.craigslist.org/bik/5971485788.html) ad is a two-for or what, but the blue one with bar ends would work nicely. A kickstand isn't a bad idea when there's a trailer attached.
