View Full Version : Did Dimension (of all companies) accidentally invent the perfect 26.0 bar?

I've noticed a few thread lately requesting info about a 26.0 bar with a round bend, flat ramps, and short reach. Basically, people are looking for the Ritchey Classic round bend in a 26.0 clamp.

Did Dimension, king of the low end OEM bars, invent one? 80 reach, 128 drop, basically no branding, comes in silver or black. Anyone tried this? I have not found a side view online to see what the bend looks like.

But the Deda Speciale already existed?

Dimension is a QBP brand so it's not that surprising.

I like Dimension bars. I prefer the Double Groove model. It's an anatomic design and the closest I could find to the no-longer-produced Cinelli Solida bar. Have been using one in 42 for over three years now. No complaints.

I will reserve my vote on whether this is the "perfect 26.0" traditional bend until I see a side view in order to assess both the ramps and the length of the drops. A flatter ramp, like on the Ritchey Neo-Classic, would be welcome, but the weight on the Demnsion bar is significant. For now the perfect 26.0 traditional bend bar is the Deda 215 shallow.
