1st p'toon, E co., 2nd batt. 54th ITB, Ft. Benning, GA.... September '99 - January '00. 20 of the worst weeks of my life.

Woodland camo BDU, boot polish, M16A2s, Dont Ask Dont Tell, calling cards & pay phones, civilians had no clue what an Army Ranger was.... "good ol days"

Front Leaning Rest..... that was the px/bar next to the barracks in jump school. Before your time back in the pre pc days of fatigues, steel pots, m16A1s, .45s, and jeeps. Basic and AIT at Sand Hill were easy compared to Bragg and Mackall.

I was at Ft McClellan: 3rd/48th INF Dragoons for Basic, then across to the Chemical side of the post for AIT
