Will a freehub sold as a Shimano 9 speed compatible freehub accept a Shimano-compatible 10 speed cassette?

I believe they will all be 8/9/10. There were only some 10 speed only fhb's.

yes, unless it's a dura ace 7800fh.

It was the redheaded stepchild. But even those, in many cases, can be swapped for a more universal freehub.
