Hey paceliners, kind of new here but really enjoying the community. I'm looking for a new frame for a project and need some help tracking it down.

I'd prefer production over custom due to cost. I also would like steel, but would do alloy or carbon. This will be a gravel/all road bike with Shimano di2, Hydro brakes and 1x11. Now, what I want:

- Road Geo Frame (70mm bb drop, shorter chainstays 420 or less).
- Tire clearance: 32-35
- Di2 ready
- Internal brake routing
- Disc brake
- Mudguard/rackmounts a plus

Possible suspects:
- Mason Resolution / Definiton: pretty much ticks all the boxes, but a little pricey.
- Bowman Pilgrims: very close. Although alloy might be least fav material.
- Fuji Jari: I like the looks but the bb is a little high. Solid price for frameset
- Diverge...eh, don't dislike Spesh, but wouldn't mind a little more boutique build.

What am I missing?!?!

Thanks to another thread I found out about the Fairlight Strael (http://fairlightcycles.com/strael/strael-frameset/?v=7516fd43adaa)

BB drop is 68mm, tire clearance is a hair smaller (reportedly 30-32c although they show it fitting 33c knobbies (https://www.instagram.com/p/BLYUoRXhxAq/)) and it's got external brake routing but everything else is a go. Also it's £750 which should fit your budget. Hard to get everything you want in a production frame!

[QUOTE=sonicCows;2120100]Thanks to another thread I found out about the Fairlight Strael (http://fairlightcycles.com/strael/strael-frameset/?v=7516fd43adaa)

I did see that on another thread and yes they are HOT! They are on the short list as well. I do wish the bb was a tad lower and if the brake line has to be external, I do prefer on the top tube. (I have an Endpoint Coffee Grinder now that is awesome!)

The more I look, the Mason is probably what I should save up for and get. The multi port system for routing they have is pretty neat and clean.

Thanks for the input

I am building up a similar bike and decided on a Gunnar Hyper XX. It is hard to beat the company that has been building Paramount frames since before I was born. Great value with excellent quality. You can customize the frame for a fairly reasonable cost.

Controversial choice.. some of the new China generics look like attractive geo - low bottom bracket, less steep seat/head tubes.

I have a Foundry with a 1x and disc brakes that I really like.
