So, I'm thinking on buying a compact crankset of the newer 4 arm crankset from campagnolo. However, I'm running the previous 11 speed model of record. Would there be compatibility issues if I were to try and run a newer crankset on my old model grouppo?

Fits straight into the existing BB, you may need a tiny tweak on FD set-up.
