A heads up for anyone looking for a good frame pack. I had a Revelate Tangle that I really liked but wouldn't fit my new adventure frame, 54cm Monster cross. Doing a search I ran across the Blackburn Outpost on sale ( $46.00) from WesternBikeWorks that looked like it would fit, It did and I love it. Plenty of space and fits perfectly, probably would fit road frame from 53cmTT to 56cm TT, mine is 54cm. BTW the bottom can be unzipped to expand.
The sale is over but even at the regular price well worth it.

Banjo bros. has proven to be durable and affordable as well. I have a riding buddy that is doing custom bags and is really progressing as an innovator and putting out some really solid stuff. He's 16 years old and doing it for a high school business project. Ive got a bar bag now and he's making me a frame bag for trans Iowa and other ridiculous ultra endurance stuff. If anyone is interested pm me.

Been using Jandd for over twenty years, I'm familiar. The Blackburn is more sturdy and larger though the seat bag in the photos above is Jandd. :)

Banjo Brothers is hokey looking on frames besides being much smaller. I have their trunk bag which is fine in a pinch.

hmmm cool, I have a small revelate tangle and it's ok for holding my excessive tool kit and food for a couple hours. I bought way too small a size for a camelbak, which was my original intention. That blackburn looks big enough, or I could just radiator-clamp on some extra bottle cages for my back country exploring.
