I'm looking for a reflective vest with a rear pocket so I can attach a blinkie. Many of the vests lack the back pocket either to hold items or to latch on a light.

I'd appreciate any thoughts and ideas.

Sugoi Zap Versa jacket has removeable sleeves attach to the shoulders with magnets to make it easy to convert mid-ride to a vest with a back pocket. Super reflective, Supernova (yellow/green) color will sear your eyeballs. My go-to for commuting and low light rides in cool or cold weather. Available at REI

PS I just use a zip tie permanently looped through the rear holes in my helmet to attach a blinkie, it's better placed than on your back as it's higher and the light hangs vertically straight up and down, not pointed at an angle against your back, also less likely to slip off.

If you just want a rear blinky, can't you simply sew on a loop to clip the blinkie to?

I did a quick search. I'd avoid 2 rear pockets - get 3. I always hated having only one pocket loaded, just throws of the symmetry of the load. I currently have a Voler. It works well. The rando riders should be the ones persuing the best reflective vest with 3 rear pockets.

Just buy the vest you like and sew on the light attachment. Merely copy those loops found on the rear of seat bags.

For the reflective stuff, buy some 3M Scotchlite material and sew it on your vest.

PM me and I can give you enough material for both.

PI makes a decent cheap one. I got it in fluoro for visibility on early am rides. Breaks the wind nicely and packs up small when you need to shed it. Elite barrier vest maybe.

If you can find one of the previous year's white Assos Blitzfeder vests, they have my favorite set up and work great for blinky lights

The vest itself doesn't have pockets, but it has 2 slits across the back on each side that allow you to reach your jersey pockets and work perfectly for a light clip

Maybe I'm missing something, but where's the "reflective" part? That vest, as far as I can tell, is all black.
