Hoping some Paceliners can share their thoughts and feedback on the Alpha Q CX20 fork. Application is for a multi surface bike, no CX racing.
I have seen several Moots PX framesets with this fork ... was this their standard fork at one time?

the cx20 was the best canti cx fork available before the edge/enve forks hit the market...now they are the 2nd best forks heh
excellent forks, i would not (and have not) hesitated to buy frames spec'd with them.

+1. It's an excellent fork. Light and stiff. No brake shudder with cantis, which was delightful after many flexy forks and scary moments.
Those forks have a bonded-in aluminum insert that must be used, and can't easily be removed. Make sure the steerer is the right length for your needs.

Definitely shuddered with cantilever brakes at low speed, but not a ton. Not a hint with TRP cx9 mini v-brakes (obviously).

Have one on a 2008 Speedvagen CX SS that has been raced hard since day one. Still going strong.
