I got a laugh out of the product card on this. Any guesses as to what came on it?

Cheaters never win ;) but I'm sorry that is incorrect.

It is actually something bicycle related.

Something that would make you chuckle....so there has to be some irony to it I'd think.

I'll post a picture of it tomorrow am, as it is at work. It belongs on every serious racer's bike. :bike:

It looks like a Tacx DVD for one of their virtual courses they used to sell for use with their Imagic/Fortius VR trainers. Junk IMHO.

I'll help you out. It is an Aldi Bikemate Took kit

Spooky is close, originally from Aldi though found at Goodwill as NOS ;)...but not a Took, Brandybuck, Gamgee, or Baggins kit.

At the bottom of the list.... "Grinder". What do I use that for?

Or is it just sandpaper for the tube patch

I would think so, abrasive block perhaps.

I had one of those horns on my bike growing up. Together with a 1.5 meter high visability flag and green / red grips on the bars. It was hot!

I've never used one, but these were cutting edge at one point. In the early 80's, they were used typically only in the larger stage races. When riders flatted, they would hold their hands up for a few seconds, then honk three times. They would repeat this until the car reached them. Interesting to note that, for aerodynamic benefit, the horn always pointed backwards, which also helped the team cars to hear the honking.

Somewhere along the way to "faster" and "lighter," the horns fell out of use.

I was only able to break it down to these 5 possible products:

I got this a few weeks ago in the parts bin of my co-op. It's sorta broken inside at the mouthpiece so I took it apart and "superglued" it back...now it blows like a horn, loud and clear!

Its like the long lost brother to the one I found at goodwill. Is yours going on the Merckx or the Serotta?

I got mine to use in a classroom activity with my students, but I may mount it on the music cart I push around the school to let everyone know I'm coming. ;)
