It's the new Beryllium frame from Serotta. Starts at $12,000, and will be strictly limited to 100 editions.

I just got off the Bat-Phone with Santa Claus with the inside scoop.

The HSG is Serotta's first step into the downhill market.

'HSG' is short for 'Hors Super "G"'.

Look for it to be a TiMax with modified geometry. This will allow for an 8" fork in the front and bowed titanium rear stays allowing for 8" of rear travel.

I was thinking something similar. Maybe High Specific Gravity materials.

Gives you the weight advantage on the descents.

Dang, I was thinking it involved Hydrogen being injected into carbon tubes to make the thing lighter than air... "The first frame that actually floats. Add your components to keep the bicycle on the ground..."
