tapered carbon road fork for custom build

Looking to understand why the Enve fork is so highly rated and what alternatives people have experience with.

Would like to narrow down the options for rim brake fork that can (minimally) clear a 28c tire.

I've got a Columbus FEL fork (http://www.columbustubi.com/eng/4_2_5.htm), and while it's advertised as having for clearance for 25s, I roll 28s with tons of extra room. I've not ridden the ENVE road fork, so I can't compare, but the FEL has been great for me.
