I recently switched the handlebar and stem to 31.8mm on a bike that previously had a 26.0mm setup. I'd like to use my old Avocet computer on there, but realize that this probably isn't going to be possible. So I was wondering if anyone has ever seen a handlebar accessory mount that might go from 31.8 to 26.0.

Something like this BarFly would be perfect, but the mount size needs to be 26.0mm...

Keith - I've got one very similar to this.

the listed diameter for the mounting tube is 22mm. you can shim that to fit your avocet with some old inner tube rubber to bring the diameter to 26.0. should work beautifully and you'll never see the inner tube shim. bonus that the rubber will keep everything quiet and stable.

Thanks Nick. This looks great! Just curious, is yours also 22mm? Do you know exactly which one you have?

Just checked out the options on Amazon, looks like there are a number of options out there. Thanks again Nick.

No problem Keith. I honestly can't confirm which one I actually have - and it's snowing too damn hard to get to the garage right now!

i have mine attached to a rubber o-ring style garmin mount, so the diameter was not critical, but i am certain a simple inner tube shim will set you up just right.

avocet computers - i like your old school style Keith.
