That wasn't a pile of bicycles.

THIS is a pile of bikes:

Like 600 bucks a pop, depending of what is in there it coulld mean a sweet flip for somebody. The main problem IMO is that needs to bought by somebody in europe, to ship those bikes to the states in a boat will take forever and wont be like 100 bucks for everything. By plane 100 bucks each... 6000 bucks at least, big no no at that point.

Rent a truck, load them and then flip them little by little at ebay. Or find 60 forumites.. gather the money and send them one by one to the buyers or something.

I cant see a list of the bikes at all tho. What is there could be a master with a victory group or a bianchi that worth 10 bucks... risky w/o having a exact list of the items.

No argument...about your picture being an actual pile.

From the pics many look to be in really bad shape. $600 ea for a bunch of bikes that have been stored in an old bard and not terrible well cared for? You could spend years and years trying to unload those. LOL I don't see it but that is probably not a big surprise.

Looks like it used to be the great hall of an old castle... damn. Stacked 5 high. Must be a 30 foot ceiling.

If he would've saved the commas he could have put Faggin in the title. It'll never sell now. Amateur.

Nobody will drop a dime in this w/o knowing what is in this super collection, the facebook page has pretty much nothing.

No detailed list, no buyer. That simple.

Exactly. Usually when big lots like this come up that are worth something, they are owned by people who know what they have, have real documentation and photographs and are regardless of condition, clean and displayed.

I'm not saying that he doesn't have a few jewels in there but he is not do himself any favors.

I still think (until proven otherwise) it's a pile of old bikes collected by an eccentric guy.

35K seems crazy

If you're looking for a domestic option, I recently came across this in the Portland metro area.

Could be yours for a scant $3,000.

I'd love to see the collection. Buying? Not so much.

I mean, that local pick-up only thing is a deal-killer . . . .
