Never sleep well on New Year's Eve..stay at home(amateur night on the roads), no phone calls(once a parent always a parent), but all is good as far as I know. :D

Hope everybody's NewYear(remember to write 2017) is a safe and healthy one.
For you and yours..all else is small potatoes.

Slept at 8, woke up at 4.

Same routine.

The best way I know of, to start off the new year right.

I have heard of friends that record ball drop from year before, play it a 9pm, and send everyone home...

Or just move to the west coast and see it live at 9:00.

Fake countdown with the Puffin's (on Netflix) at 8:30 with the kids, dozed off at 10. Never heard the neighbors fireworks at midnight. It was a good New Years.

Stayed up until a little after midnight for the first time in 3 years playing boardgames and watching movies with my wife and daughter. All in all a great time! Happy new year!

New Year's Eve and St. Patricks Day - Amateur hour drinkers abound.

I too was home, safe and sound. Netflix king julien NYE countdown at around 10, then some delicious hors d'oeuvres and wine with my lovely wife and off to bed around 1. Our typical NYE. A nice night.

Happy, safe and injury free 2017 to everyone!

Small party at our house, done by 1:30ish. Great friends, good food, good snacks, and good booze. Best way possible to kick 2016 to the curb after the year we've had. Wishing everyone a healthy and happy 2017. :)

My 5 and 7 year old both managed to see in New Year, it did help that we traveled to see my family in the UK so the 7 hour time difference was an advantage for a change! Kinda enjoying the USD to GBP exchange rate also!

Happy New Year to all on this great forum!

Happy New Year!

I started a Zwift ride around 11:30 last night and finished about 1:00. The ride that took two years.

Hadn't ever ridden up to the radio tower yet; so within the first hour of the year I accomplished something new. Now to keep up the momentum :)

Happy New Year one and all. I x-c skied around a frozen lake in northern NH, a great workout, with wife and daughter. Wonderful way to start the new year.

Happy New Year folks! Spent last night out with Mom and Peanut. Celebrated at GMT for the Peanut and then stayed up to see Mariah Carrey's career as the last celebrity casualty of 2016.

It's been a less than ideal year on the bike for me. My season totally stopped in July. On the up side, that's when my daughter was born (6w early, but she's happy, healthy, home and doing great! Same with Mama!). Have spent the latter half of the year changing diapers, heating up bottles, putting together baby whosits and whatnots, and missing my bike. Finally getting to a point where I think we can manage me riding some more and not feeling bad about leaving the baby with Mom (at least until I can drag the Peanut along with me in a trailer :D).

Trainer is all set up. Going to get my first workout in for the new year tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

Here's to lots of smiles and miles in 2017.

Similar with my little one being born almost 7 weeks premature. Only spent a week in NICU just to grow. He's now 3 and healthy happy and a big brother to a 9 month younger brother.
My volume significantly decreased, but the quality of my productive riding increased since time is limited and a luxury.
You should still be able to achieve your goals with the correct focus training.
Good luck and have a great year!
