Or did I miss a post?

Not necessarily a huge WHAM fan back in the days but definitely another influential artist that passed way too young.

RIP Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou!

I'm an old school guy in every way. I thought George Micheals was the cat's pijamas. Just look at the video of him and Elton John (Don't let the Sun Go Down on Me) Please no jokes!!

He had a great voice and always looked cool.

RIP George

The stories that have come out about his quiet philanthropy over the years are touching.

Seems like he was a solid dude.

Unfortunately, I think his talent was hidden behind the caricature that he had become over the years. He made some great music. His philanthropy is even more impressive.

Everything She Wants is still my favorite of his songs - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yf_Lwe6p-Cg

Talented songwriter, great voice and like most of us, kind and flawed. I enjoyed his music - a lot of fun. RIP George Michael.

Never cared for his tunes as a teen in the 80's - I was way too deep in to hardcore and metal, but dang that faith song is just stuck in my head - rip regardless of the demons-

No love, but lots of respect for his talent.
Way too young to die.

No love, but lots of respect for his talent.
Way too young to die.

He was exactly one week younger than me. Helps to put things in perspective.

Playing this one right now. This is a masterpiece, in my opinion.

If you only knew George Michael as a pop artist, you should play this - and listen without prejudice.

Rest In Peace.
