A certain sadness that comes when you realize that the combination of short days, winter weather, family responsibilities, and job demands eliminates the possibility of riding your bike outside. The novelty of riding rollers for the first time in so long cannot fully mask the sense that there is something fundamentally flawed about "riding" a bicycle indoors.

May your indoor seasons be short, and your holiday season a happy one.

there is something fundamentally flawed about "riding" a bicycle indoors.


Amen!! Whenever I ride indoors (very seldom) it seems to take an hour to put in 15 minutes. I'd rather suffer outside.

I agree and living in the bay area, the chance of a dry window is pretty good. I've heard that zwift is a good option and the setup just got easier. I still haven't tried it...
