It's about that time for me to get a new brain bucket. I've had a Specialized echelon ii prior and am looking for some recommendations for helmets with sizing over 60cm.

Kask Mojito comes in an XL (and Large that goes over 60cm)

75% of the guys I ride with wear them at this point, and everyone loves the helmet. It's definitely the most comfortable I've worn

Do you want large or need huge? I don't fit a lot of helmets and the one with the most room inside has always been the POC. I've had a couple Kasks as team issue but they've been tight or simply didn't fit. Generally Giros tend to be fairly large, as are Lazers.

Definitely need the larger sizing. I've found in helmets that claim to go up to 60+cm but are only labeled as "large", some of the Giro models for instance, my head is still too big.

IMO is not that probably this dude has a large head the issue is the shape... many helmets are designed for rounded head and if you have head like Udo from accept that is wide and flat in the back a rounded helmet wont fit and if it does it will be lose in the back. Asian heads are like that.

There is a japanese company that make helmets for big watermelons but those are barely seen here in the states. U can find them at ebay tho, the only problem is that I cant remember the brand :/ but probably you can google.. asian fit bicycle helmets and sunglasses...

I would try maybe kask...

Maybe some local shops in your area have some you can try on and buy after admiring your handsome self in the mirror they thoughtfully provide.

Giro knows how to fit my melon. Just their standard large.

Agree with this. Esp. if your large noggin is egg-shaped. I wear a L and Giro or Specialized helmets look ridiculous on me, they sit so high. Garneau's are so-so. Haven't tried Kask yet. I'm on my second Lazer Helium and nothing I've tried thus far is compelling enough to switch.

Lazer Large fit pretty well.

I myself have a watermelon head, as my Uncle refers to it, and the Giro Synthe Large fits well.

I wear a Kask Vertigo and it's the best fitting helmet I've ever put on, and I have a big head.

I always had problems with american brands because are for rounded heads, they never fit right till I got a kask on sale that is not even the top of the line... fixed the straps a little but, but it over my head and was pure revelation.

I've got a rather large head (was called Darth Helmet when in the Army) and have had good luck with Bell. Had a Bell Gage prior to a crash this summer. Replaced with a Spec and haven't liked the fit at all. Just had LBS order me the new Bell Zephyr :hello:
