Anyone use the SF Bags/Waterfield/ElevenVelo bags?

Trying to decide between the larger cycling ride pouch:
https://www.sfbags.com/collections/cycling-accessories/products/cycling-ride-pouch

or the cycling club pouch:
https://www.sfbags.com/collections/cycling-accessories/products/cycling-club-pouch

Mostly to fit cell phone, keys, money - but these look like they could take a tube, levers, etc and replace my arundel uno. Though I don't want a heavy/bulky bag in jersey pocket, so that is not necessary.

Anyone experiences?

Thanks, M

I have a 2nd hand Waterfield Laptop Bag I purchased a little over a year ago. It's the best constructed piece of luggage I own, by far. Use it every day whether to work or travel. Mine is ballistic nylon which is heavy, but I don't see that as an option currently.

Very good quality of construction. I've the large leather "musette" https://www.sfbags.com/collections/bags-and-cases-for-macbook-laptop-ipad-tablets/products/field-muzetto and a laptop bag https://www.sfbags.com/collections/bags-and-cases-for-macbook-laptop-ipad-tablets/products/cargo-laptop-bag - they're as good as new after several years of regular use. I don't use them anymore, as my needs have changed, so PM if interested.

I have the cycling pouch. Very well made and it fits flat against your back. If you have a glass protector on your phone you will not be able to use your phone without taking it out. They have a newer bigger travel pouch where you can access your phone without unzipping the main compartment. If they were to combine this feature with the cycling pouch then it would be a better overall cycling pouch IMO.

Sounds like you have the Ride Pouch (with the clear phone compartment). Not too big in the jersey? What do you carry in it?

Anyone have the Silca phone wallet too?

Yup. I have two CO2 canisters, dispenser, multi tool, one lever, and a campy spoke tool. Plenty of room for spare tubes and mini pump but I ride tubulars. I have no trouble fitting along with my phone in any jersey or jacket pocket. It will take up the entire pocket but you won't notice it as much because it lays flat. I had small nylon pouch and it protruded and bounced around. Nicely made bag.

there's a leather variant too, but it's more cash. I've used one for five years now and love it. I throw my tools/tubes in it and phone in another pocket. but it would work perfect for what you're looking for.

I just asked for the Ride Pouch for Christmas. I stuffed just about everything I'd carry into a similar wallet, rode with it, and didn't notice it after about two miles, so I'm expecting the same.
I looked at the Silca wallet, but it couldn't carry the phone (as I recall) & I didn't want to take of two pockets to carry what I would in one with the Ride Pouch.

I have the Club Pouch. I carry an extra tube, inflator with an extra CO2, patch kit, tire boot kit, tire levers and spare key. On occasion I'll carry my iPhone SE in a Nuud case along with the other stuff but it's a snug fit and I worry about crashing and crushing my phone against the CO2 canisters.

I went with the smaller sized Club Pouch because I wanted a top load pouch opposed to unzipping one whole side - I prefer to load my essentials from the top and not the side. I prefer to have my phone separate from my tools. I have a Specialized EMT cage mount tool attached to my water bottle cage so it's one less thing I carry in my Club Pouch.

I would recommend their products. Thoughtful designs and well made.

On the topic of Waterfield quality, I can say that I had one of their compact camera cases. I used that thing for years and it still looked new. I recently found the bag in the garage and it still looked new and nice.

They're a local company for me so I like to support Dave and his team.

I'm a fan.

Note: I haven't used his cycling stuff so I can't speak directly to those products but looks like Dave is a cyclist and thus I assume his cycling stuff has been field tested to meet his quality bar.

Have they changed the size? I remember trying one a few years ago and my iphone 6 wouldn't fit easily.
