Riding in Myrtle Beach, SC ??

Heading to the Myrtle Beach area for a family vacation this coming week and I am hoping to get some good training in while we are there. Coming from Upstate NY, some +60 deg weather will be a blessing. I am hoping to pile on some miles.

Anyone out there suggest any good rides in the Myrtle Beach area? I have heard that it is a bit of a traffic nightmare in the area. Are there any good "less traveled" roads inland?

Appreciate any suggestions.

stop by or call Bicycles-n-Gear. they usually have weekend rides that start pretty early in the a.m. not sure about the weekday rides. i may be down there this weekend to spend Easter with my folks.
