Does anyone own a Chebacco? I'm unable to find a lot of feedback online. Will be test riding one this week, but interested to know if anyone has any thoughts.

I don't own one, but Jayson at Gravelcyclist did a pretty thorough review:

There's one for sale ATH so I would ask the seller.

They look like very nice bikes! The ones I saw in action at Jinglecross were really sweet. I thought they were almost too nice to race.

All - thanks for the responses. The Parlee is intriguing and the TT hump has even grown on me.

Christian - I've reached out to the seller ATH.

jbay - Thanks for the links. Would also like to hear from owners (if any) on this forum.

I looked at one of these a couple weeks ago- they are really nice.
It is on my list if I decide to do a fender bike that takes pretty wide tires.

What are you going to use it for? That may help you decide on whether it is the right bike for you?

Road training type bike
Winter fender bike
Road/cross combo

I would say that the main advantage to the chebacco is that it takes wider tires than many "endurance" bikes, has fender mounts, and has fairly tall stack.

why do they have that goofy lump of whatever on the top tube? is that some sort of aero do-dad, like a kamm airfoil? ruins the aesthetics for me of what parlee's are supposed to look like (or traditionally looked like). but hey, i'm not buying it and if you like it that's what matters. am sure it's a superbly riding bike. that aside, i have a z5 now (and had a z4 prior) and parlee makes a darned fine bicycle, no matter what the model.

I've ridden one from a local shop and I think they are quite nice. A perfect all-road! If I didn't already have a "gravel grinder" bike this would definitely be on my list.

One of the things I like most about this bike is that they're flatly telling you, you can go race this bike in cross, and then take it out on the trails. Maxxis-Shimano is racing them as well.

reminds of what Pivot is doing with their bike.
