Does anyone know where I can find the published weight of a 2003 Legend Ti?

No where ! They don't publish weights because of too many variables.

fyi My 56 with chorus record mix, 02 fork, neutrons weights 17.2

my 57 legend is a tick over 19 with bottle cages, computer, bag/spare and record/chorus/time
I am thinking of new wheels that the lbs guru says would be worth nearly a pound and a half off.

csm - mmmm, a pound and a half? 650+ grams? What are you riding now and what would you replace them with? Just curious...thanks.

Tim,

I think csm must be riding those new Flinstone wheels! The other explanation is that by using the phrase the lbs guru says would be worth a pound and a half. That the lbs is overstating the savings by taking into consideration that saving rotating weight has a greater value than saving non-rotating weight. Perhaps the real weight savings is only 1/2 of the "worth" statement, i.e. 325 grams. This is a much more plausible explanation.

record hubs, chorus cassette, mavic ceramic somethings, 32 3x front and rear with conti sprinters.
what he is trying to get me to get are the american classic carbon tubulars. I am not sure either that I would see 1.5 lbs.
