its already built, and it looks good enough to me. could you be a bit more specific?

I mean if it were literally me, I'd put the blackest campy 10 stuff on it I have so it would work with my fleet. then black everything else with a different colored bar tape, maybe white, maybe navy, and my saddle would have to have a smidge of pink on it too.

then after riding it that way for a bit, i'd strip it and paint it blue like a proper bike

This, I like this suggestion....

I saw the frame, fork and fenders on the twin six site today for $640 and it got me wondering about building one up.... I think the pink is different, but it really got my attention!!!

These caught my eye too last night when they hit the site. Still leaning to the Orange. On the pink I think I would opt for a black fork to break it up a little and if carbon maybe smooth out the front end a bit.

Hard to complain about the above except maybe DT/WI/Record hubs laced to H+Son/DT/Velocity rims. :D

I was going back and forth on that.

My wife has the orange version on her short list.

No fenders, 5800 bits, XT rear/dyno front with Ailerons (650b), WTB Horizons, White Industry crankset and a Thomson seatpost/stem as they are sitting here on a shelf.

Probably a dyno front hub, IQ-X and a Tubus low rider front rack.

Swift Paloma bag as well.

to be honest it's pretty tough to complain about their stock build. i got a green one back in the spring and honestly haven't changed a thing on it except adding a front rack to carry panniers.

650B with chunky tires are a thought as well, i put on a wheelset with 30mm Challenge Strada Biancas and they rubbed fender hardware...

the more i ride it, i'd like to swap out the Fizik bars for Thompson KfC (the shape is ideal for me and i've got them on my other bike) and i'd maybe also go to a 1x.

It's amazing how matchy-matchy fenders really greatly cheapen the look of a bicycle.

Similar to those rim-frame-matched fixies that are still so prevalent around here....

I like color matched fenders

first thing I would do is get 650b wheels for it, babyshoe pass or if they fit switchback hills or WTB horizon tires. The rest really depends on what you like and how much money you have.

Want campy? you will have to do with TRP Spyres or TRP HYRDs.

Want shimano and have cash, get hydros.

Definitely would put a SP Dynamo on it, a dynamo light and would probably put a rack on it with a swift bag but that is just me :)

oh, saw that when i got some stuff from twin six this weekend, those bikes are cool and the pink is awesome (although I do like the orange posted above a bit more), the green one is cool too and the black is always a classic. Off course if money is not an object, the TI bikes look awesome and are apparently pretty great

I do too, but my wife wants to ride off road with it.

It will also see a fair amount of use on fire roads and river rock roads near our cabin.

She also wants a 650b wheelset, so that rules out Twin Six's fender option.

I'm with Grady. Love color matched, but I didn't think of 650b when I did my build.

I want to alter my original build. I will stick with the zonda db wheels with 32s but I would add a second 650b wheel set built around some DT hubs.
