Has any one taken one of these vacations; if so any comments?

I did a trip with Andy H many years ago - classic trip through Tuscany. Can't recommend highly enough if its a trip in Italy with great riding, food and folks.

Cinghiale tours are fantastic. My wife went as a non-rider and had a great time. They been discussed a lot here so do a search if you want more details. The only problem is that they tend to fill up early. Don't procrastinate if you want to go in 2017.

Haven't done a Rapha trip, but have been on two trips with Cinghiale. Both were fantastic experiences and I would recommend them to anyone who wants a full service trip. Trip organization is first rate. People with the company are first rate, Andy included.

I did a Cinghiale trip to the Dolomites last year and it was awesome. Andy and Elaine ran a great trip. Daily routes and guides were fantastic. One thing I like is there are few transfer days which means you don't spend much time re-packing every day to move to another hotel. A couple friends have also done other Cinghiale trips and had similarly good experiences.

No experience with Rapha

Dolomites trip - was that the 4 Pig trip? I'm tempted by the 2017 trip, but don't think I'm 4 Pig material at age 62, unfortunately.

Yes, I think that's a 4 pigger. Don't sell yourself short, there were several guys on the trip who were mid-60's who kicked ass.

Great trip. Several people in their 60s did fine.

Thanks to all of you who replied. If I can convince my wife, a non rider, we will go in September.
