This tire is on deep discount online now. Does anyone know of plans to replace it in the Continental lineup?

I do not know their future plans but why would I care anyway, as all I know is that these are currently my favorite road tires. The best part is that they are still made in Germany. I have just stocked them up with a couple of dozen sets with around $26 a pop.

World's best clincher race tire for the non-tyre snob.

I bought some of them from Ribble with a discount code. Even without a discount code, they are still fairly cheap. I would stock as many as possible while they last.

Does anyone know how wide a 28mm GP4000S is on 23mm rims (A23, Archetype, TB-14)? I'm aware these run large, the 25s on the wife's road bike plump to about 27.

Thanks

Yowza, thanks. That may be too plump for the bike I'd like to put them on.

I was actually looking at the 31mm on A23s. Bike has room for 30mm width at the chainstays with acceptable clearance.

I'm intrigued as well where you found for $26. Best price I can find them is right around $30. Still a great price on a fantastic tire, but if I can save another $4 a piece....

said $26 is with a discount code. If you don't need them now, subscribe to their email list and wait for them to run a "deal".
