I'm playing with the idea of building something upright and relaxed for getting around town and short distances. Brooks saddle, swept-back "three-speed" style bars, rubber pedals, chain guard, that sort of thing. My idea is to use an old steel road frame or preferably touring frame but I'm pretty sure I'd need quite a different size than for a road bike, bigger but not sure how much bigger. Any thoughts? I'm usually on a 57cm road frame.
