View Full Version : Slightly OT: Modern, Minimalist Website

I'm looking to build a website for a bike-tours company.

In my mind, I have an idea. 3-5 Gigantic, larger than full screen pictures that slide vertically as the reader scrolls, at a rate slower than the minimal text before the pictures (think the background on a droid phone as the user swipes through the screens).

This one page will contain all the information for the tour.

At the bottom, 2 buttons. 1 to reserve a spot (goes to paypal) and 1 to email me.

Has anybody seen a site similar to this? My builder is having difficulty understanding what I want. I can't think of any off the top of my head.

No. The text there has its own background. I want the text to float before a slightly shaded super high-res picture. But close.

I have seen sites like that.. even more i was in one like 2 days ago, cant find it.
