Apologies Dave, sometimes even great pieces of work are pressed into service in ways no one really wants.

If by "laundry room" you mean the stacked washer/dryer between the kitchen and the bathroom.... it is about 10 feet away from the bike, and so bike clothes tend to be brought into my office/bike room to dry.
This is apartment living, at its best. :D

Nice work Matt.
I'm glad the internet doesn't convey odor.

If it wasn't clear. This is for drying after it comes out of the washing machine. I don't put my cycling gear (or any technical fabrics, or wool, etc.) in the dryer. So, that leaves me having to find spots to hang my gear to dry.

I put all of my cycling gear in the dryer. It is only cycling clothing.
But I would not hang any wet clothes on my bike either.

lol, sometimes I do a similar thing. My bikes hang from hooks in the garage. After a ride I'll rinse out my kit to get the sweat out, put them on hangers, and hang the hangers on the bike.

Wet clothes hanging on a steel bike?
Why does that sound like a bad idea to me?

My bet would be Dave's happy you're riding it enough to have to wash your gear.

And you can put these up in many various places... like the hallway, in closets, doorways, etc.
You should see my sister-in-law's house... you literally have to crawl through their hallway to get to the bathroom on laundry days

I guess I must be the exception. I dry all of my stuff (except any Merino wool stuff) in the dryer and have never had any issues. I even set it on Medium heat because Low takes too long.
