I just found a Mavic Ksyrium wheelset really cheap, but the rear rim is cracked. It has really low mileage and I was wondering whether I should re rim or part out.

Replacement Parts from mavic usually aren't cheap, or easy to find depending in the age. That said, if you found a rim for a good price it may be worthwhile to re-rim if you like the wheels.

Nah, I just want the front for a bit while I rebuild the two that had the hub collapse. The rear is ShimaNo. I think I'll part it out.

I sold a low mileage pair of 2010 elites for $275 recently. That's about the going price. This is the model that dropped weight to 1550g but still with the narrower rim.

Unless the price is really low and the person can get the parts and build the wheel themself I don't see a market to part it

I paid $75 for both with less than 1500 miles on them. I figure if I can clear $40 on the rear hub, spokes and a QR, I'm good. Just going to keep the front as a spare until I get both of my fronts rolling.
