At least he wasn't armed. Also googling "rambo squirrel" leads to interesting results.

Mr. Squirrel is a very bad man.

I'm confused.

I have always thought that Mr. Squirrel is...a squirrel.
In every nutty picture he posts he sure looks like one.

He's actually a hybrid - and orange, to boot:

Squirrels are simply, ... well, ... squirrels.

There's no sugarcoating it.

There are no exceptions.

Agree 1000%.

That said, some squirrels can look like real poseurs when riding those new Fat Chance recumbent re-issues.... :D

These Arizona squirrels must be a mutant breed. Hiking in the Grand Canyon there are several signs warning against squirrel contact. Here in the flyover states, our squirrels are kinder and gentler.

One bounced off my front wheel yesterday while riding off road. Yay 36 spoke wheels.

Google "squirrel in the spokes"

**** happens with some regularity

One thing that drives me crazy and just might be my death someday is this awful apparently evolutionary instinct to start in one direction then immediately dart the other way - works great for them when they're trying to not get snatched up by a hawk probably, but totally counterproductive when I'm trying to NOT hit them with 25mm of rubber at 45mph

I got a mongoose through my rear wheel when I was a Oahu commuter. Cut him in half with Roval Pave wheel. It made a mess but it all hosed off when I got home. He pulled a squirrel, darted away from me and then turned back. Yesterday was lucky but I was going pretty fast and 36 spokes present a pretty good barrier. Kind of a "ping" noise and it flew off to the right and back.

Squirrels are OK. I no longer have any problem with them:
