Retrofit wireless to whatever derailleur/ frame combo you like.... though "eliminate the weight of wires" as a primary sales pitch seems odd

Seems interesting and at least worth it for mtb. Although I'd be curious how clunky it is. Can't imagine trying to hit just the right button on the trail, though. "No, not dropper, I meant downshift!"

Just watched his vids on his websites, and there's not too much detail on how the things actually work, and from the bit I can tell in the videos, it appears to just put a little mechanical pull device near the derailleur that just pulls the cable from much more nearby using the remote on your bars. Also, it looks like one single joystick pad style remote for both derailleurs???

EDIT: I only looked at the xshifter site initially. There's much more info about how it works on the kickstarter page.

Interesting idea. Not sure it will take off and it feels a bit like a science class experiment, but cool nonetheless.

Man, I love Kickstarter! Not sure I need this but it's fun to think about!
