I set up my grocery hauler (old Univega Gran Tourismo) with SKS P45 Longboards.
The bike has 27 wheels with 1 1/4" Paselas.
I did a lot of search on fenders for 27" before I bought the SKS and general consensus was that 700c fenders should work.

Well, they do, kind of...
Was total PITA to get them adjusted but at the end clearance is less than 5mm all around.
They pick up every leaf which then tends to get stuck driving me bonkers.

Anybody having luck with another brand/type that provides similar protection as the SKS P24 with 27" 1.25" tires?

Thanks,
GS

There is essentially no real difference between 27x 1 1/4" and 700Cx32 with respect to fenders. I like the VO Facette a lot. http://store.velo-orange.com/index.php/accessories/fenders/700c/vo-polished-45mm-facette-fenders-700c.html

Agree with above. You want full metal fenders designed for 700c that are 45-50mm wide. VO, Honjo and Berthoud are all available.
