PSA: Novara Mazama Still Available at REI

These are pretty cool--Monster cross/gravel/adventure bikes with dirt drops, bar ends, and 40mm tires. REI has them marked down to 713.00. However, they're no longer available on the website. https://www.rei.com/product/875003/novara-mazama-bike-2016

I called the 800 number, and asked if there were any more in stores. They showed 15 large bikes left. I did not inquire about other sizes. They cannot ship store-to-store with these, so they ship to your house or business from the nearest store with one in inventory. Shipping quote was $45 from somewhere outside CO.

I have seen these at the store and thought that it looked like a fun bike.

I was seriously considering one of these for off-road touring, but decided on going with a Fargo instead, which I haven't purchased yet. This mark down price is really good. Novaras are good products. I might have to see if one of the local stores has one in stock.
