Have a lightly used 7900 group i'm thinking of selling.

Good used condition, not prefect, not thrashed either.

chain/cassette
short reach brakes.

what am I looking at here for pricing? $600ish?

I sold a very clean 7950 set locally on CL about two years ago for $600, and was actually kind of surprised I got that for it.

I was hoping to get a good price for it, since I'd just splurged on 9000 and new wheels to go with it. Couple years later and one more generation of DA released... plus 10-speed only.. If I was selling on Paceline or the local race association board, I'd probably post for $400 if it's in super good shape.

If hoping to get top dollar, I might post for $600 "OBO" on CL and hope someone offered $500. There's a SUPER clean 7800 set on the local CL that's sat for $200 for a couple weeks now, if that tells you what to expect in the current market! (sold by a bro, too... if anyone wants the hookup, PM me)

It's also the single worst time of the year to be trying to get top dollas on bike parts - I'd wait till spring (and am!). Now's the time to buy parts, not sell 'em.

11 speed killed the resale value of 10 speed stuff...

Dead man is spot on.

Check eBay recently sold listings.

I'm looking for one but don't think the value is over $400 even if condition is great.

$600 is too high. There are a few on the classifieds here for around $600 and they haven't sold for months.

ebay was, predictably, all over the place with no apparent reason.
