I inquired about it and got this response:

The trainer has been taken down from our website as all units are completely sold out. Our design team is currently working on an updated model of the trainer, but it is still a prototype in pre-production, so details are vague on it's availablility.

So I picked up these 3 items to experiment with.

Suunto Movestick Mini
http://www.suunto.com/en-CA/Products/PODs/Suunto-Movestick-Mini/

Suunto Bike sensor
http://www.suunto.com/en-CA/Products/PODs/Suunto-Bike-Sensor/

Elite speed/ cadence sensor
http://www.elite-it.com/en/products/global/trainers/sensors/cadspeed-sensor-ant-20-cm-turbo-muin

The Elite doesn't seem to be talking to the Movestick so I returned it. Was hoping it would cuz it's cheaper and it would allow me to have real cadence recorded. I may buy another in case I just got a bad one. It's ANT+ so should work.

You can see the setup pictured with the Suunto sensing the tiny rectangular magnet on the Revolution. Some how Zwift is showing a cadence number even though the Suunto isn't reading anything.

So it works at least for speed. I'll give the 5 days left on the free 7 days a whirl and see if I like it enough to pay $10 USD a month.
