I've got some pre 2015 (probably 2012/2013 I'd guess) Chorus 11 shifters.

Does anyone know if the new (2015 onwards) hoods (they're the ones with the dimpled textured bits) will fit?

Also, any tips for fitting the hoods without removing the shifters from the bars?

Same body so I think they will.

Way harder to replace with the hoods with levers off the bike, IMHO..spray some simple green inside, pull over the front of the shifter, while on bars..maybe a few seconds in a microwave to make them warmer, softer.

Thanks OldPotatoe; hoped you'd chime in.

Was thinking of trying to lubricate them somehow; might put them in a basin of hot water to supple them up a bit. I've got a feeling it's gonna be a nightmare job though.

It really isn't..over the brake/shift lever and pull over..pull aft, line up the things that go into lever body holes..

The 2015 hoods fit on pre-2015 shifter body. I had two broken shifters and created one working one. This is a picture of a 2014 athena shifter body, 2015 chorus hoods, and 2015 chorus brake lever. Pretty cool.

But 2014 Athena, being power shift with only a hole for the thumb button, means the opposite won't work. A 2015 PS hood onto a US body, for info.

You can cut a small section off to make it work.

This with the aid of a screwdriver to stretch the hood ... per the Campy video :)

I've taken my hoods off a number of times. Definitely keep the levers on the bars so all your energy is spent on the hoods and not keeping the levers in place.
Initially I was using some isopropyl alcohol as suggested in the Campy Youtube vids but found I was able to do it without any lube. Get them over and off the thumb lever and you can inch them off from the front.

THanks you for all the replies; glad to know they fit.

I'll probably just cut the old hoods off I think.

Windex is an amazing lube for situations like this

I used warm water for my Campagnolo brake hood replacement efforts and it worked great.
