Hey there, I recently bought a Ti bike off the bay. It is from a small builder in Michigan, Sisu Cycles. I guess it doesn't matter, 'cause I already bought it and built it up, but I'm just curious if anyone here has any experiences or thoughts.

I've been pretty stoked on it so far, its my first titanium and I think it is going to serve me well as my do everything commuter/cx racer. Already had it out for its first race.

I don't know anything about the builder, but the name might come from the Finnish word "sisu", which is difficult to translate directly but loosely encompasses the ideas of bravery, grit, courage, and guts. I only know that from the stories and interviews of Finland's remarkable distance runner Lasse Viren.

Viren: Finland's Lance Pharmstrong. Paavo Nurmi...now he had Sisu.

To my mind, Finland is best known for their motorsports acumen, particularly in the top level rally and formula racing.

Thanks, William, I saw that before I bought it. Sisu seems to have a verrry small web footprint...

This isn't a bad interpretation of the term.
