It's near the top right, under the name of the bike. One thing I just noticed is that shipping charges are $350 with timelines of 5-6 weeks. Hopefully they at least pack these with care.

I think they would do better listing the collection on ebay. I'm not sure they will get the greatest amount of exposure on that sight. Could have used someone with bicycle knowledge when creating the listings too.

I met Mr Williams randomly on a ride in Santa Monica. He was riding a Colnago, that's how we struck up a conversation..about that bike. Funny, that bike isn't up for auction.

He told me he wanted to auction off a bunch of bikes for the Wounded Warriors Project. He looked me up and down and said his hobbit bikes would never fit me.

He was a nice man. Glad I had a chance to meet him.

Man, I'd be all over that C40 Gold if it had the original wheels. With those Kysriums, it loses some of its luster as a Gold anniversary edition.

The Pego Responsorium is also very tempting at the starting bid.

One day, during the NAHBS in Portland, Robin came into AC, asked Chad if he's like to go with him to the show..hopped into his jet, flew up to the show..Chad said the guy was a genuinely nice man..sad end.

What a collection. I love that among the Pegoretti's and other exotic bikes there's a frickin impec!

Not to bum everyone out but his wife wrote an eye-opening piece about Williams suffering from Lewy Body Disease (http://www.neurology.org/content/87/13/1308.full) and how hard it was to diagnose. It sounds like the last year of his life was miserable and I can understand his frustration with losing control of not only his body but also his mind.

Yeah, this makes me sad. Robin Williams was a great guy. My only story (and I wasn't there), was that when I lived in Vancouver, he went out on a ride, dropped by a comedy club in Kitsilano, did a fraction of a set for the fans in his lycra, and then got back on the bike and vanished.

Great guy.

Not to step on anybody's feet, But I'm going to bid on one of the bikes, Prob the Cervelo because No one has bid on it, I would actual Ride it and frankly it looks like the only bike That would Fit me perfectly.

We should set something up, where we as Paceliners, don't outbid each other.

On a side note, I rode With Robbin in Austin during a LiveStrong Ride years ago, for about 15 miles. And Jesus, He really was a Warm guy. Goes down as one of my Favorite lifetime experiences. Honestly, he was a Cyclist through and Through. Damn this is depressing. Just sad to me.

Click through to the details of any of the individual bikes. Right below the "Place Bid" box on the right is the following: "This piece has a 20% Buyer's Premium."
I can't confirm that it's contained on every item but it's on every one that I checked.

You must be kidding! His family puts up a good portion of his collection with the full proceeds going to good causes and you are trying to subvert the process for your own personal gain? Sounds like somebody who has been in the news quite a bit recently would do.

https://paddle8.com/work/trek/124609-madone-discovery-channel-limited-edition-diamond-7/

Really, who is going to buy that thing...well, the headbadge does have diamonds in it, so there's that.

Also, there's the interesting electric bike that doesn't have a charger? That may not sell either.

Good Luck!

Trek sold those special editions like hot bread, and those were like 15000 bucks, never understood where the price was coming from, neither understood somebody paying that much for one, specially when in a couple of years sure the price was going to be maybe 10% higher than the regular production ones.

Thought Williams knew better.

Not a stretch at all. Who do you think lives, eats and breathes QVC and HSN? Sadly, depressed people who live for that next package from UPS.

Of course none of us here can really relate to that. ;)

One of the Pegs is now over $20k...

https://paddle8.com/work/dario-pegoretti/124643-responsorium/

The sizing is deceiving since they seem to measure TT actual not eTT.

If all the bikes the two that make me sit up are the Mondrian and the respo. The Mondrian because oh duh Mondrian

The respo is from the first year respos were introduced I think 2008. Ciavete then was $500. So f/f/paint $5k. If you have bever seen a respo ciavete from that period the paint woul blow your mind or make you puke. Crazy colors. Cartoons. Italian phrases Polarizing. I'm in the blow your mind camp. Those paint jobs must have taken hours and hours

While the time to paint a masterpiece is not related to the resultant masterpiece the iniaguaral ciavete are so much more intricate and detailed than my 2010 ciavete . It's not even close mine as looks like a regular person could have painted it (in a manner of speaking) where s robins of course only Dario could do that. Now ciavete in other circles is known as surprise me

There was an even more complex same era ciavete at my LBS. R10 gold shamals ouzo pro - the components and fork of the day. Perhaps $9k out the door?

Robin must have gotten his from Chad. Love that he debadged the fork. Pegs with Reynolds stickers in the mix look lousy It's at $20k now which is probably not a surprise.

Taking a time machine back for a do over yiu could see $10k if one lets go of the used frame half off paradigm.

Celebrity status bids it up. I bet the guy in at 20 could do 50. Doesn't matter to him

There was one like this in my size on eBay a few years ago. Sometimes I lament not going for it. In the I woke up from my dream end I decided i better ride what i have more instead of trophy hunting

He was suffering from Parkinson's and LBD and from his wife's account it sounds like he was only truly depressed at the end of his life when he was losing control of his body/ mind.

Is it "beware" in Dario's dialect?

(In latin, cavete means "be cautious")
