I have tried a bunch and just can't seem to find one that I am happy with.

It needs to hold one tube, 2 CO2, inflater tool, and multi-tool.

So what are you using?

I love my Arundel Uno. Perhaps a bit small for what you want to carry but some nice and compact.

another vote for the ile (http://ilequipment.com/collections/all/products/seat-bag). when they sent it in a tyvek envelope, i was scared they sent me an empty envelope because the bag itself was so lightweight inside. but seems quite durable, doesn't rattle around, and holds all the stuff you need.

can get it in a lot of colors, and looks as good as a saddle bag is gonna look.

Arundel Dual. Big plus is that is doesn't attach to the seatpost.

I think of the Arundel Dual, which is very good, as a larger saddle bag. The Uno is a great size and could easily fit what the OP is looking to carry. To get the tube to take up less space it's good to refold it and use a couple rubber bands to keep the shape compact. The Lezyne Road Caddy is also a really good smaller bag and the wide velcro strap does a great job keeping it in place.

Third the Uno - you can cram a bunch in there if you're creative. I replaced the metal loop with a zip tie to get a bit more room.

I have two of these, and they are nice. I am thinking about getting something for my pocket that will handle all that plus my phone, though. Slica has one that would replace what the OP wants & one that would handle the phone, but not one that would do both.
For under the seat, I think the OP would be happy with one of these.

The Dual would fit all that with room to spare. One tip though, keep the multitool away from the sides as it can wear a hole in the fabric. Arundel customer support is excellent.

I've been using, and like, a small TukTuk bag by the company Koki. Unlike most other bags, it uses a silicone band around the seattube instead of velcro.
I also have one of their really BIG saddle bags I use on the mtb sometimes, and a small toptube bag on the tandem (for the stoker). My wife likes their handlebar bags.

Arundel Dual. Big plus is that is doesn't attach to the seatpost.

I've experienced the other side of this "feature." It means that there is only one means of attachment. Recently purchased this item and for whatever reason, the attachment wasn't secure enough. Lost the bag and all its contents.

I really liked this bag too, until the strap delaminated/broke at the part where there is a hole (roughly where it goes around the seat rail). From the photo in your link, it looks like they made that part wider, so maybe it will last longer.

I've settled on the Arundel dual for now. It could use a clip for a light, but that is a quibble. Serious demerits to the fizik and Lezyne bags for having crappy Velcro that dies very quickly (and in for the latter, straps that were way too long). BTW, Lezyne customer service did not respond to my observations about their product (this was a couple years ago).

but I wouldn't want that boa wire on a carbon railed saddle.

I've been riding sans bag for a year now. Just using a tool roll (osprey) in middle back pocket.

I've had this on pretty much every bike I've owned. The small size really dictates that you think about what you pack. It's large enough to hold what you need for almost every normal situation, if you are savvy and don't bulk out on tools you'll only need if you get hit by a meteor, but small enough to be relatively light and unobtrusive. All too often, I see riders who never go farther afield than their local hill climb sporting seat packs the size of a football and the weight of a gallon of milk. Every time they get out of the saddle, said bag swings back and forth like a swollen cow's udder.

I was thinking the same thing; is a single Velcro strap enough support for weighty items? My Pro bag, and before that a small Bontrager version, work very well but I am experimenting with carrying my emergency stuff in a jersey pocket instead.

Road Runner's Drafter.

beat me to it. i like the old design with just two velcro sections so the whole thing is ultra simple. the new one has the typical straps on either side that wrap around and buckle underneath it, which is fine, too. but the old design is perfect

Lezyne Road Caddy is working well for me-- no seatpost attachment, strong velcro for the main strap, enough space and decent organization.

I have Arundel Duals on two of my bikes, and they'll definitely hold everything OP asked for. I like them a lot; only thing that could make me love them is a tab for a rear light...but that would never work with their zipper location, so I'm not holding my breath.

I dunno, I can't say I love the Arundels. I have an older Uno, and the strap occasionally creeps up and the bag dangles away from the saddle. The duo is great for tubulars or my mountain bike, but its a bit too long and I never put in anything besides the tire/tubular and a can of sealant.

The tools inside have also ripped through the canvas if I tighten the strap too much. I carry a tube, small multitool, chain tool, and co2. The inflator and pump (if I'm in the mood) I carry in my pocket.

Not sure what to get... I had a soulrun roll once, it was nice but too big... Silca...

I have been using the Rixen & Kaul Model 80 (but they have many sizes), with 2 extra Klick-Fix brackets, on 3 bicycles. It seems very well made, and is a bit larger than my old SciCon. The narrow profile works well with Ariones.

Road Runner tool roll and Arundel Duo. The tool roll is barely there and holds the same thing: 1 tube, 1 multitool, 1 patchkit, 2 levers, dollar bills

Instead of paying 20-30 bucks, I usually just look around or put away any small bags (I got tons of em') that I come across which I know can be easily "re-purposed" as a saddle bag.

Like this little guy here - used to be a battery holder for NightPro light.

What is that green tube? Mace?

That is, believe it or not, a micro air pump. I use it to find the leak in a tube, to find the debris in the tire, and I use it to seat the tube to make sure I don't pinch it before zapping it with CO2.

Yes, you will need 500+ pumps to actually inflate a tube with it (I did it once when I got a flat in the shade by a picnic bench.. I figured why not!)

It is an "Airbone SuperNova"

I have used the Timbuktu or the small Specialized bag to carry 2 tubes, a tire lever, a spare link and 2 temp patches, 16 g CO2 and Innovations microflate and a small Blackburn airstick pump.

I've used the Dual for many years on numerous bikes. Never had an issue with it, ever.

I recently picked up a Chrome Race saddle bag. It fits a can of Pitstop and the way it attaches still leaves room on the seatpost for a light. I've also been able to stuff a tubular in there (without the sealant) but with the tubular the opening can fold over only once. Previously I had the Arundel Tubi. It worked fine but it took up a lot of room on the seatpost and didn't leave much room for a tail light. The one thing I don't like about the Chrome bag is that the straps are somewhat awkwardly placed such that the bag sits slightly askew. I'm overlooking that one bc I can now mount a tail light to the seatpost. Also, the price was under $20.

I've got a mini Jannd that I use when I'm on clinchers. I was a little disappointed though when I used it on my mountain bike. The Velcro wasn't able to hold the weight of a tube and Lezyne mini tool when bouncing down a trail.

That ILE bag seems nice. Never heard of them but I see that they're local.

I found some of the Sci-Con ones that clip on and off on eBay--seems a perfect size for me for a patch kit, spare tube, tool and emergency flasher. I have an extra connector, so I can switch one bag between the two bikes I regularly ride.

Mine are older (and I think slightly bigger) but Competitive sells them...

All my saddles are Fizik and I like the Fizik saddle bags that just clip on the saddles. Particularly when you have 3 or 4 bikes.
