Hi all,
I know we have similar threads in the past regarding Campy 8 speed hub conversions, but has anyone swapped over a Vento hub to a 9/10/11 speed freehub? If so, what is the process?
Thanks... I'm dying to try them on my Merckx Leader.

Been there my man.

I was considering getting rid of my shamals for a second and then realized I'd probably never get a set like them again.

I read thru that thread but am not sure if Vento and Shamal rear hubs are identical in the freehub they take.

My personal understanding gas always been yes, if you can find a mirage fhb, it can be swapped, but I'm no expert.

I did swap one onto a Scirocco 20 hub, but it hasn't been laced into anything yet.

Vento used the same hub as Shamal and HPW(straight pull spokes)..so you can use a 1997 Record or Chorus FH body for 9s(10s and 11s buy) and plug and play. Athena and below 9s FH used a different axle with a different length shoulder but you can use the axle and FH body from those hubs. HPW had the FH body sitting way into hub shell so 10s will work but not 11s as the biggest cog hits the spokes.

Thanks all, and a special thanks to Peter.
To save someone else time in the future, the parts I need (from the spares catalog) are either of the following:
FH-RE215
FH-CH015

Those are the Record and Chorus variance of the freehub for standard axles.
