Ordering Cables/Housing in bulk

I build about 3-4 bikes/year, sometimes more. Does this make sense? I feel like it's a smart move.

Which gigantic box o' cables do I want, and where should I go to get it?

Cabling/Housing for Shimano/Sram modern 10/11 speed.

Not really- the money you save by the foot you make up for by having excess inventory. Sort of false economy unless you are using a lot of it. Even as a builder it takes me a long time to burn through bulk rolls with so many groups coming with cables and housing.

Repair shop- different story.

Bike shop can do 25 foot rolls of housing and probably sell you a dozen or so inner wires...Jagwire brand....or buy a box of inner wires, 100 count. Get brass ferrules...
