why doesnt my regal saddle fit on the rails of my nitto post ?

I have a campy post w/regal saddle . Tried that saddle w/new
nitto post and clamp is a little to wide. Tried campy post w/
new regal saddle and the rails are a little to narrow . So if i
try the new post w/new saddle it is way off . What to do ?

As long as the rails are 7mm diameter, I'd suggest a little prying, pushing or squeezing to alter the center to center distance. The normal c-c distance is about 43mm.

Seems to me like you should be able to get one rail in place and the push or pull on the other to get it to drop in.

My Regal and Rolls have to be "persuaded" to fit various posts. Pry a little, tighten a little, etc. etc.

It may be possible to pry it to fit the campy post
but no way is it going to fit the nitto !! Oh and c-c
is 39 mm .
