I finally accepted the fact that I'm never going to get around to extensively processing these, so I went ahead and uploaded them tonight. It's a collection of snapshots I took at NAHBS 2016. There isn't much rhyme or reason to the collection, some are simply notes to myself and the lighting left a bit to be desired. Enjoy.

They're good pics... thanks for posting. Love the segmented forks I'm seeing in there.

Don't let it get too hot:

I'm not particularly OCD, but this would drive me bananas

I can't embed the photo, but this is the most stunning example of bike building skill I have ever seen

so is nahbs a "just slap a bunch of random parts from the shop together and present it" type of deal or what? the bike that two people called stunning just appears to be a hodgepodge of stuff, and the other pic appears to be someone putting a quarter on a fork and presenting it as art. is it more of an art show than a bike show?

Some beautiful creative craftsmanship that leaves me appreciating the simple and practical functionality of my Soma Stanyan that much more. Very nice photos, thanks.

I'll leave the quarter alone, but the "hodgepodge" bike is damned impressive. You may not like the steampunk aesthetic, but you ought to take a minute to appreciate the fabrication skills that went into creating a handbuilt suspension bike in the style from the 1890's. I wouldn't buy it myself, nor likely ride it, but it shows a lot of chops. That's not stuff that someone had lying around the shop -- it's purpose-built one-off components just for that bike. A few bikes each year at NAHBS have the builders go after not just the frame, but also the components, and this is one of them. Check out "Cherubim Cycles" for some other crazy examples. Again, not my personal style, but impressive fabrication work.

Thank you for posting. I love seeing the out of box ideas and ingenuity of some of those builds, and seeing what is important to some and not to others.
