so cross vegas was the first cross race i have ever done, and boy was it different than your typical crit and road races. very fast start from the beginning
-for anyone that did the race will know how they setup the racers which was by their bib number. the numbers started at 30 and ended at 191.
-i had the excellent #188 and my teammate had #182. so i took this ride as an excellent test of my fitness by seeing how many people i can pass from the back of the pack.
-long story short i end up passing well over 100 riders but not without being put into massive amounts of pain in the process.
-course profile: grassy and hill course with a 100 m sprint finish
-2 sets of dirt stairs
-1 set of clean stairs (no dirt)
-2 barriers to hop over
-a pretty damn big sand pit
-2 wooden ramps
-lots of twists and turns into some pretty steep hills
-definitely the hardest sub 7 mile race of my life
